If this is an emergency, stop reading
If you think you may be having a medical emergency — including severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat — call your local emergency number or go to an emergency department immediately. Do not delay seeking help because of anything you have read on this site.
1. This is education, not medical advice
GLP-1 Healthcare publishes general information about GLP-1 medications for educational purposes. Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and nothing here is tailored to your personal circumstances. Only a qualified healthcare professional who knows your history, medications, and examination findings can advise you.
2. No doctor–patient relationship
Reading this site, or contacting us, does not create a doctor–patient, pharmacist –patient, or any other professional care relationship between you and GLP-1 Healthcare or anyone associated with it. We cannot answer questions about your individual treatment, and you should not send us confidential health information.
3. Always consult your own clinician
Do not use this site to:
- start, stop, or change the dose of any medication;
- diagnose yourself or anyone else;
- delay or avoid seeking professional care;
- disregard advice you have already been given by a clinician who knows your case.
If something you read here conflicts with what your own prescriber has told you, follow your prescriber and raise the discrepancy with them.
4. Individual circumstances vary
Medicine is not uniform. Your age, weight, kidney and liver function, pregnancy status, other conditions, and other medications all change what is safe and appropriate for you. General statements on this site describe typical patterns and cannot account for your situation. Drug labels, approved indications, and clinical guidance also differ by country.
5. Our review status is stated on every page
We publish our clinical-review status openly, and the byline is where you read it. A page reviewed by a credentialed clinician names that reviewer and their credentials. A page carrying only our “Evidence-sourced” mark has been written and fact-checked to our editorial standards, with every clinical claim traced to a named primary authority, but has not been signed off by a clinician. We never imply endorsement we do not have. See our Editorial Policy for how we research and source content.
6. Accuracy and currency
We work from primary sources and review content on a schedule set by how quickly the facts change. Even so, medical knowledge, drug labels, prices, and coverage rules change continually, and content may become out of date between reviews. We make no warranty that the information here is complete, current, or error-free. Always check your medication’s current prescribing information and your own clinician’s guidance.
7. Third-party links
We link to external sources so you can verify our claims. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or accuracy. A link is not an endorsement, and citing an organisation does not imply that it endorses, reviews, or is affiliated with us.
8. No liability for reliance
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GLP-1 Healthcare accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or harm arising from reliance on information published on this site. Your use of this site is subject to our Terms of Use.
9. Reporting an error
Accuracy matters to us and we would rather hear about a problem than not. If you believe something here is wrong, unsafe, or out of date, email corrections@glp1.healthcare and we will review it against the primary sources.
The short version
We are here to help you understand your options and ask better questions. We are not your doctor, and this site cannot replace one.
