How We’re Funded
A health resource is only as trustworthy as its incentives. Here is exactly how we do — and don’t — make money, so you can weigh what you read accordingly.
The funding we refuse
GLP-1 Healthcare is independently operated and is not owned by, affiliated with, or funded by any pharmaceutical manufacturer, telehealth prescriber, or pharmacy.
- No payment, sponsorship, or free product from drug manufacturers.
- No manufacturer influence over what we cover or what we conclude.
- No paid placement disguised as editorial content.
How we may earn revenue
To sustain the work, we may earn revenue from clearly labelled advertising or from referral arrangements with vetted, legitimate care providers. When we do, we commit to the following:
- Clear labelling. Any advertisement or paid link is visibly marked as such. You will never have to guess whether something is sponsored.
- A wall between money and medicine. Commercial relationships never determine our clinical conclusions, our safety information, or the order in which we present options on clinical grounds.
- Vetting. We only refer to providers that are appropriately licensed and legitimate. We do not take referral fees from grey-market or unregulated sellers.
Our commitment
If a commercial relationship ever conflicts with giving you accurate, safe information, the information wins. That is the entire point of being independent.
This page will always reflect our current funding model. For how that independence shapes our content, see our Editorial Policy.
